Tasting Notes: The Exclusivos are one of the few figurados that are available and it has to be said that when they are good, they are excellent and the current batch that I have received are absolutely perfect. Golden brown, colorado maduro wrappers, with perfect construction and whilst it makes a fairly bland start, once cruising the Exclusivos develops into a fine medium flavour, medium strength smoke. Relatively easy burning with a slight sweetness. Whilst their wrapper shades left a lot to be desired for most of 1998 the current batch are truly first class. Produced in the Briones Montoto factory (previously known as Romeo y Julieta). Highly recommended day time smoke, but a little disappointing in the evening. If you like the Cuaba Exclusivos you may wish to try: Romeo Exhibition No. 3 and possibly a Punch Punch.
